Youngsun Ko
Professor at Hongik School of Architecture, Hongik University

Youngsun Ko received her Master in Architecture from Yale University, and B.S. in Architectural Engineering degree from Korea University, Seoul. She is a registered architect in New York State, and holds LEED AP from U.S. Green Building Council. She is a professor at Hong-ik University and a design principle of The Place Design Lab since 2012. She practiced in Polshek Partnership Architects and Michael Fieldman Architects in New York. Her career includes many projects at different scales and diverse building types - House, Museum, Theater,  Cultural Center, Library, Academy, etc. -, which earned various awards, like SARA Awards and AIA Awards, etc.
